Datamatrix New Zealand Ltd was incorporated on the 20th of March 1995 in Bodhinyanarama Buddhist Monastery. It's mission is to bring technology to bear on the teachings of world religions. It aims to do this without encroaching on individual privacy, by looking at the collective decisions of groups as embodied in the behaviour of listed companies. Specifically it aims to use the techniques of numerology and astronomy, to look for an underlying matrix or order in the apparently chaotic events of equity markets.
It has a core group consisting of an Anglican-Buddhist, a Buddhist-Taoist, an Agnostic, and a lapsed Catholic. It is on friendly terms with individuals from a spectrum of view points, spanning fundamentalist Christians to Islam. We are mainly based in New Zealand and have links internationally in Europe and the USA. Monitoring is carried out on international events due to their influence on the gold market, and hence equities in general. Here in New Zealand we have links with universities, but due to our specialized nature no formal recognition.
Our primary interest is in the area of unexpected events or, as the statisticians put it, exogenous variables. The failure of existing equity modelling techniques to predict these events, is not, in our opinion, a cause to believe that they cannot be predicted. It is simply that existing techniques do not address the area of combinatorial limits to linear behaviour. It is in this area of combinatorics or numerology that we aim to make a contribution. Our studies to date indicate that the crash of Enron and rise of Microsoft, all have their roots in matrix related forces.
We believe the causal explanation of the effects we see lies in the quantum mechanics world and actively monitor developments in the zeropoint area. Many believe this new area of physics may offer an new source of abundant energy. However, if this is true, it will also bring a new mechanism for information transfer and reception. It is possible that patterns seen by numerologists and astrologers result from information coming from the zeropoint or quantum foam fields.
Datamatrix New Zealand had its Woodstock in the 1998 Asia financial crisis. It tasted the forbidden fruit and it asked the big questions. The fruit was bitter and the answers somewhat overwhelming. The ability to move markets and pierce corporate veils brought new challenges for which a period of introspection was needed to adjust to.
In 2008 the main thrust of the company is to effectively deploy the increasing assets available to the project too maximum effect. Given the highly geographically disperse nature of the team, and the extreme diversity in people, from military men to musicians, it is not clear how this is going to turn out.
